Breaking news is that monsters are headed to Hong Kong, but who they are and what they want remains to be seen. In this unique board game and writing workshop, students will first create their own monster characters to play “King of Hong Kong”, a board game custom-designed for ECP by Press Start Hong Kong. Then, inspired by H.G. Wells’ “War of the Worlds”, they will learn how to write and narrate their own radio news drama documenting the monsters' invasion of Hong Kong—complete with music and homemade sound effects!
