board game
Play & Write: King of Hong Kong (Ages 11-13)
Overview
BREAKING NEWS! The scoop is that monsters are headed to Hong Kong, but the who-what-when-where-and-why remain to be seen. Students will create their own monster characters to play “King of Hong Kong”, a board game custom-designed by Press Start Hong Kong for this unique 4-day writing workshop. As the game progresses, our reporters will track the monsters' journey through Hong Kong and write breaking news reports and in-depth feature articles, including interviews with 'experts' and eyewitnesses. Finally, their articles will be published in a special edition newspaper covering the monsters' invasion of Hong Kong!
