Overview
In our writing workshops, we focus first and foremost in the drafting and revising stages on clarity and precision of expression--whether it be to share our opinions, provide information, or tell a good story. As all writers know, however, editing is an important stage in getting a piece ready to share with other readers, and we need a firm grasp of grammar rules and conventions to be a good writer AND a good editor. In this workshop, students will refresh students' technical skills and improve their proofreading habits as they strive for the title of "Master Editor". They will review common grammar errors, battle their way out of mazes of mistakes, and practise their editing skills on both others' writing and their own.
