Experimental Elixirs
Boom! That’s usually the sound blasting through the kitchen when a potion is brewing. In Roald Dahl’s George’s Marvelous Medicine, George tried to create a marvelous mix to help convert his grandmother from being a horrible hag to a lovely lady. In this summer creative writing and publishing workshop students will challenge their characters to create concoctions to help fulfill a certain need. From producing the perfect super glue to preparing the ultimate cure for something, everyone is bound to stir up some kind of trouble with their experimental elixirs!
