Disastrous Days
Everyone’s had a bad day now and again -- woken up on the wrong side of the bed, missed the bus, or slipped in a puddle of mud. Inspired by Judith Viorst’s classic story Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, students in this creative writing and publishing workshop will develop their own characters and build up a series of small misfortunes that snowball into one disastrous day. The online version of this course will run for 5 group sessions, followed by a one-on-one session for each student to provide additional support as they revise and edit their story to be published.
