Overview
When people think of Hong Kong, they think of skyscrapers and shopping, but our dear city is also home to abundant and diverse wildlife, from golden orb spiders and lantern bugs to pink dolphins and bamboo pit vipers. While some of these creatures may make city dwellers shiver and shake, they may have fears of their own. Students in this creative writing and book publishing workshop will learn about and develop the character of one of our wild Hong Kong neighbours and tell the story of how it battled its phobia, one tiny step at a time. *Note: From our experience, students in our online creative writing and publishing workshops benefit greatly from 30-min one-on-one sessions with the teacher to support the revising process. These one-on-one sessions will be scheduled directly with the teacher and charged separately. For students in this age group, we expect students will need a one-on-one session every 2-3 weeks (5 max per term).
