Book Launch & Publishing Parties

Our young authors work very hard to write and prepare their stories to be published and they deserve to be celebrated! At the end of each term, all students are invited to join our book launch and publishing party with friends and family to share their newest books, magazines and newspapers. With author readings, book signings and introductions to our charity beneficiaries, these events highlight the joys of writing to be published and the pride our students have in their work.

Author Leadership Programme

ECP’s Author Leadership Programme for ages 9 and up supports our authors to share their writing, present themselves as authors, initiate activities around their books, and advocate for their charity beneficiaries.

Community Projects

In 2012, Elephant Community Press launched its Street team community projects to demonstrate the power of learning experiences that reach beyond the classroom and out into the local community. Past projects have included interviews with elderly residents, owners of local traditional small businesses and local food producers and farmers, as well as co-creation of a collection of writing with refugee youth. Regardless of the theme, all projects are designed to bridge communities, promote community engagement and service, and share the diversity of stories within Hong Kong
