Reading and Writing Events: HK Public Library Summer Reading Month

summer reading month

Hong Kong does not have a ton of events for young writers, so you’ve got to take advantage of the ones it does! Luckily, the events that do exist are pretty big, with tons of great online resources to connect your child with famous authors and like-minded up-and-comers. Check out this cool event coming up, and let us know of any child-friendly reading and writing events you’re involved in.

HK Public Library Summer Reading Month: Each summer, the Hong Kong Public Library sponsors a program to encourage children to read more each summer. Children pledge to reach a reading goal and make reading a daily habit and can track their progress on the website. There are also exhibits, workshops, and other events for children running as part of Summer Reading Month. The program is running now through 31 August 14.
